Roulette Productivity Increased with CCTV Casino Suite
At the International Gaming Expo, Ipsotek announced the launch
of a new CCTV Casino Suite that will increase productivity at
roulette and blackjack tables. A prototype developed by the
company to show how the product will work has been running
smoothly for many months.
The Ipsotek Casino Suite provides real-time and past management
information as well as a ‘drill down’ feature. This means that
if a specific table is running under the amount desired by the
casino then the video for that period can be viewed instantly by
clicking on the performance chart.
At roulette tables casinos can find out the spin per hour on
open tables, spins hour by hour at all tables in any session and
when low activity is happening at open tables. At the blackjack
tables the casinos can use the product to see the deal rate
across all tables at any given time, the number of bets per hand
at currently used tables and the total number of hands used in
any specified time frame.
The Finance Director for Ipsotek, Andrew Eggington commented on
the Casino Suite: “Our new casino suite offers a unique ability
for casino operators to pinpoint how and where they can increase
profitability. The system collects activity and event
information from the gaming tables, typically using existing
CCTV cameras.
The activities gathered include the frequency of roulette wheel
spins and the speed a hand of cards is dealt as a function of
bets taken. The information is then turned into data that can be
used to trigger performance-related alarms as well as being
stored in a central database, where if may subsequently be used
for staff productivity management. This data is used to optimize
activity levels and hence improve the casino average win
percentage.” |
